We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to help our client deliver high-impact software solutions that bridge the gap between complex technology and real business problems.

Are you a seasoned software engineer ready to act like a “startup CTO” within a global company? In this role, you will work directly with business units, solve real-world problems, and build scalable, end-to-end software solutions.

As part of Beetroot’s partnership, you’ll join a dedicated team working closely with our client to design, build, and maintain systems that leverage AI tools while ensuring quality, reliability, and measurable business impact.

Our client is a technology-driven company focused on delivering enterprise software solutions to Commercial, Manufacturing, and R&D sectors. They combine deep technical expertise with real-world business insight, helping clients solve complex problems and scale solutions across multiple teams.

In this role, your work will directly impact business outcomes by delivering rapid, reliable, and high-quality solutions that support strategic initiatives across the organization. You will be part of a team driving innovation and solving complex problems with a direct effect on business performance.

What you'll do in this role

Take full ownership of complex, end-to-end software solutions, from problem discovery to production.
Build full-stack applications rapidly, selecting the right tools for each problem and balancing technical debt with delivery speed.
Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to define priorities and influence roadmaps.
Lead multi-team technical initiatives and mentor engineers across your area, including full-stack and AI-augmented development.
Design scalable, reliable systems on cloud platforms, implement CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high code quality through testing and code reviews.
Apply AI evaluation and verification practices to safely leverage AI tools in development.
Optimize developer workflows and knowledge sharing to improve team efficiency and long-term maintainability.
Extract reusable patterns from field solutions and hand off validated components for enterprise-wide adoption.
Manage technical debt strategically and document complex systems for discoverability and team collaboration.

We're looking for

Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8–12 years of experience in software engineering, preferably with multi-team impact.

Experience & Skills:

Proven experience delivering complex, end-to-end solutions.
Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and independently making technical decisions.
Strong understanding of architecture, full-stack development, cloud platforms, and AI-augmented workflows.
Experience with stakeholder management and collaborating directly with business units.
Ability to mentor and lead engineers across technical and business domains.

How to knock our socks off

Experience with AI tool evaluation and verification.
Proven track record in site reliability engineering and scalable architecture.
