About the Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior / Lead Java Developer to join an implementation team delivering large-scale insurance SaaS platform projects.

This role requires strong hands-on development experience in complex, data-intensive environments. You will be responsible for implementing integrations, data migration components, and enterprise-grade services as part of long-term implementation programs for global insurance organizations.

Requirements:

8–9+ years of strong hands-on Java development experience
Deep knowledge of Core Java and object-oriented design principles
Experience working on enterprise-grade systems
Strong understanding of integration patterns (REST, messaging, asynchronous processing)
Experience with data migration, transformation strategies, and ETL concepts
Solid experience with relational databases and advanced SQL
Experience working with large datasets and data-heavy systems
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience in long-running implementation or transformation projects
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Nice to have:

Experience in insurance, fintech, or other regulated industries

English level: Upper intermediate

Responsibilities:

Design and implement high-quality Java-based services and components
Develop integration layers between the SaaS platform and enterprise client systems
Implement REST APIs, messaging integrations, and data exchange mechanisms
Develop and support large-scale data migration processes
Implement data transformation, validation, and reconciliation logic
Work with complex data mapping specifications and contribute to ETL processes and data pipelines
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
Collaborate closely with Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to refine technical requirements
Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to solution refinement
Follow architectural standards and implementation guidelines
Participate in code reviews and maintain high engineering standards
Support testing, defect resolution, deployment, and go-live stabilization
Contribute to cloud-based deployments (AWS / Azure / GCP) and ensure alignment with enterprise infrastructure standards
