Head of Data Analytics

This time, we are looking for an ambitious Head of Data Analytics with a systematic approach to working with data and the ability to build a scalable analytics function that supports product and business growth.

The future Head of Data Analytics will be responsible for meeting the analytical needs of several teams, fostering a data-driven decision-making culture, and shaping the long-term strategy for the Data function. This role involves close collaboration with business and product teams, participation in hypothesis development, implementation of iterative testing, and interpretation of results.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• 6–7+ years of experience in data analytics, including 3+ years of experience managing a team of analysts (5+ team members);
• Proven experience building a transparent and high-quality analytics system within a business environment; strong sense of ownership and demonstrated product impact;
• Deep understanding of analytics principles and tools: SQL, Python, Tableau or Superset, GA4 and GTM, Git;
• Hands-on experience conducting A/B tests and presenting results to stakeholders;
• Experience in department budgeting (calculating and defending budgets for software and team resources);
• Strong presentation and communication skills at the C-level;
• Experience with data infrastructure migrations or transformations (BI systems, event tracking systems, etc.);
• Practical experience in e-commerce or high-growth product startups;
• Results-oriented mindset and strong teamwork skills;
• High analytical capability, structured and systems thinking;
• Customer-oriented approach and empathy toward internal stakeholders and their needs;
• Ukrainian speaker.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Building and developing an analytics system for an e-commerce business;
• Preparing data to support management decision-making, conducting A/B tests, and analyzing the effectiveness of implemented solutions;
• Participating in customer experience research and business hypothesis validation;
• Promoting and strengthening a data-driven decision-making culture;
• Contributing to initiative performance evaluation, economic analysis, and task prioritization;
• Forming, developing, and managing the analytics team.
