Lead / Engineering Manager (Python, Django)

About the Role 

We are looking for a strong technical leader to take ownership of production support for a B2B e-commerce platform. 

This role is focused on system stability, incident management, and technical coordination. New feature development is not part of the scope. 

Responsibility, leadership, and communication are top priorities. 

Requirements 

• Strong Python 3.x knowledge 
• Production experience with Django 
• Solid understanding of Django ORM and DRF Strong SQL skills and query optimization 
• Experience with PostgreSQL / MySQL / MS SQL Server 
• Solid understanding of OOP and SOLID principles 
• English level B2+ and higher  

Responsibilities 

• Ensure stability and reliability of the production system 
• Investigate and resolve incidents (root cause analysis) 
• Review and validate support-related code changes 
• Optimize backend performance and database queries 
• Coordinate the support team 
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding incidents and system status 
• Make technical decisions within the existing architecture 

Nice to have: 

• Celery / Redis Async programming 
• Experience with e-commerce or B2B platforms

• English level B2+ and higher 
• High level of ownership and accountability
