GlobalLogic is inviting an experienced Frontend Vue.JS Architect to join our engineering team.

The client’s product is a PLM software solution for businesses. PLM refers to the process of managing a product’s lifecycle, from its initial conception and design to manufacturing, distribution, and eventual retirement.The client is now in the process of transforming to a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company and wants to maintain the high flexibility of the platform and the included upgrade as key parts of the SaaS offering. As a part of the transformation scope, the client needs a cloud management platform (CMP) that allows the company to host, monitor, maintain and scale the platform’s Container Deployment running on customers’ behalf.

Requirements:

• 8+ years’ experience as a software developer
• 3+ years of working experience as an Architect or technical leader.
• Experience in architecting scalable and maintainable front-end solutions for complex projects.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Vue.js.
• Experience with Angular, React.js and .NET would be a plus.
• Experience in Microservice Front End development/ deployment/ management.
• Good experience in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities:

• As the Architect you will be responsible for designing tech solutions, development, and implementation of high-end, reliable, performant, and scalable software solutions with a strong focus on the customer and delivering business value
• Facilitate communication with other teams on the lead level to explain the changes to gain support.
• Develop and integrate evolving business functionality on the platform using Vue.js.
• Collaborate with teams in the unit, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and map them to the given software framework.
• Review existing and proposed platform architectures, and ensure that weaknesses and problem root causes are identified and mitigated.
