Senior С/C++ Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join PLVision and work on our cutting-edge networking products. This is a highly technical position that requires a candidate with 5+ years of commercial experience in the development of Embedded Applications and C/C++ programming.

As a Senior Engineer, you will contribute to a growing project for our customer that provides innovative network connectivity solutions for 5G, 4G and industrial networks. Our experienced team helps them to ensure successful business results while enabling SONiC on the client’s hardware.

Vacancy responsibilities:

• Platform part integration

• SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud) features design/implementation

• SAI (Switch Abstraction Interface) design/implementation• Documentation and community agreements design

• Feature implementation and verification

• Build system maintenance

Vacancy requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Software/Computer Engineering

• 5+ years of commercial experience in Embedded Application Development

• Good knowledge of C/C++

• Knowledge/experience in networking (Routing, ALC, QoS)

• Experience with Linux (as the main development operating system)

• Knowledge of scripting languages: Bash and Python

• Good troubleshooting and debugging skills

• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team

• Customer orientation and flexibility

• Knowledge of technical English at Intermediate level and higher
