Full Stack (PHP/JavaScript) Developer

About the customer:

Our client's history began over 20 years ago. Today, the company group consists of several companies with specialized solutions that work together in a common organization to be able to deliver comprehensive solutions to the company's customers. Common to all the original companies has been to explore the possibilities of technology and digitization to help businesses in the welfare sector.

Today, around 140 people work to develop, sell and manage the company's digital system for the Nordic market. Among their customers, we find around 150 municipalities and many private companies in various areas of activity such as elderly care, child care, individual and family care, LSS, Dentistry, Dental Technology, Rehabilitation and Psychology.

About the team:

The team consists of 4 people — Product Owner, Software Architect and 2 Full Stack Developers.

Assignment description:

You will join the team that works with an operating system for many different types of clinics that connects the entire customer journey in the same system. Everything from the patient being booked in, the visit being carried out and documented in the medical record to the time payment is issued and completed. It is used in different types of clinics and receptions within rehab, psychology, and surgery. But of course, there are other businesses with slightly different needs, and together with them we develop a system that suits them.

Right now the team is working on migration to PHP 8 but your main direction would be related to different integrations, adding new payment solutions, and feature development. This is a back-end-oriented position (80% BE, 20% FE).

Requirements:

- Over 5 years of experience in software development

- Expert in backend development with vanilla PHP

- Frontend proficiency in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript

- Knowledge of Angular framework would be a plus

- Strong experience with MySQL databases (MariaDB is used in the project)

- At least B2 English level
