Platform Engineer (Telecom)

Join a dynamic, collaborative, multinational team. You will be mainly responsible and will play a critical role in managing the heart of the company, their platform that processes transactions on a daily basis. You will perform day-to-day and strategic tasks to debug and ensure the uninterrupted operation of the software, resolve and prevent technical issues that may affect the health and growth of the company.

We are looking for a skilled professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment with broad responsibilities, including:

Main Requirements:

• Three years of experience in a similar position.
• Database skills (Oracle [preferred], MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Redis).
• You understand the basics of computer science and practical experience in developing distributed systems.
• You know a programming language (Python/Java/GO/Ruby).
• You have experience working with Linux.
• You can work effectively in a team to solve complex engineering tasks.
• You have an Intermediate level of English.
• You have experience in the field of telecom.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of Service platforms.
• Deep analysis and performance monitoring of service platforms.
• Participation in testing and evaluation of new samples of the Service solution.
• Development and improvement of tools for monitoring Service platforms to provide quality services.
• Responding to the commonality of the platform, identifying problems, defining them
• Documenting incidents, conducting root cause analysis and informing managers.
• Investigate and resolve traffic-related issues such as message delivery failures, network reboots, system errors, etc.
• Identifying and solving problems with the company's platforms and services.
• Cooperation with service providers for maintenance, planning and support of existing platforms.
