About the project:

By joining Scalac, you'll be part of a financial industry project that streamlines global securities finance transactions and drives innovation through new product development.

Responsibilities:

Participate in design and development of backend services using Scala within event-driven architecture, incorporating technologies like Akka, Kafka and MySQL.
Developing new and optimizing existing features.
Designing and implementing new products.
Extending existing teams.
Managing tech debt.

Must-haves in the technology stack:

At least 4 years of Scala experience.
Commercial experience with Akka Actors.
Kafka.
Testing: working with mocks and testing asynchronous code.
Relational databases.

For this position, you'll also need to have solid experience with:

Akka Cluster and Akka Streams.
Database operations using Slick.
Knowledge of AWS services.
Practical experience with microservices.
ZIO.
CQRS/ES.

Discovery talk with HR (about an hour).
