Responsibilities:
- Perform software and hardware testing of network storage devices
- Develop and execute manual tests for software and hardware components
- Analyze and report bugs with clear communication with stakeholders
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
- Prepare and deliver regular testing status reports
- Participate in client and team meetings to align on requirements and updates
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in manual testing of software and networking hardware
- Degree in Engineering or a related field
- Understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, DNS) and configurations
- Proficiency with major operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux, Unix)
- Knowledge of storage systems (NAS, DAS, Thunderbolt, RAID, S3) and file systems
- Understanding of RAID arrays
- Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation (test plans, test cases, checklists, bug reports)
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and hardware documentation
- At least Intermediate English Level (both written and spoken)
Nice to have:
- Experience in performance and load testing
- Desktop application testing experience
