As a key player in our operations team, you’ll safeguard our platform against financial risks while optimizing payment processes for exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Payment Operations Management :
- Oversee daily payment processing, ensuring timely execution aligned with SLAs.
- Monitor transactions for fraud, anomalies, or compliance risks; escalate issues promptly.
- Collaborate with Payment Service Providers (PSPs) to troubleshoot and resolve transaction discrepancies.
- Support integration of new PSPs and payment methods, ensuring functionality and efficiency.
Compliance & Risk Mitigation:
- Conduct thorough KYC checks: verify customer identities, proof of address, and other documentation.
- Perform risk assessments and flag suspicious activity to compliance/risk teams.
- Maintain accurate, secure client records in line with AML regulations and company policies.
- Stay updated on evolving compliance requirements and industry best practices.
Customer & Cross-Team Collaboration:
- Resolve payment and KYC-related inquiries from customers and internal teams.
- Provide clear guidance to improve payment processes and customer satisfaction.
- Partner with compliance, risk, and customer service teams to address complex issues.
What We’re Looking For.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in payment operations, KYC/AML, banking, or fintech.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Technical familiarity with PSPs, KYC tools (e.g., Jumio, Sumsub), and payment gateways.
- Strong analytical skills with a knack for identifying risks and solving problems.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage high transaction volumes under pressure.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of World-Check or similar compliance databases.
- Experience in a fast-paced fintech or startup environment.
- Passion for improving processes and customer experiences.
