Our client is Sweden's largest independent customer review platform where customers describe their previous experiences with different companies. With high integrity and the constant pursuit of objectivity, the platform lets previous customers tell us what they really think about different companies without censoring or removing reviews when they are less favorable. Every month, approximately 250,000 visitors discover and review which companies deliver on customer expectations before choosing to contact a company. The company was founded in 2007 and today has over 1 million customer reviews spread across some 60 industries.

About the team

The team consists of 2 frontend developers, 2 backend developers and CTO.

Assignment description

The client is now looking for a front-end developer who can join and start delivering solid projects in Svelte, which is the framework they want to use to build their platform going forward. They are currently moving away from React, which has been used for a long time. They are looking for someone who can take the initiative and, together with the existing front-end developers, help lay a strong foundation for the platform moving forward.

Must haves

- At least 5 years of experience with frontend development

- Experience in building complex UI using Svelte is a MUST

- Excellent understanding of Javascript, Typescript, and Tailwind CSS

- Experience with version control systems such as Git and modern development workflows

- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Other requirements

- You should have a mindset that you want to bring new ideas and ways of thinking in a collaborative way

- Experience with other front-end frameworks like React.js
