The 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 focuses on the development of modular, scalable embedded camera systems designed for deployment on public roads, ranging from in-vehicle units to complex multi-lane intersection setups. The system architecture is highly containerized to ensure flexibility, efficient updates, and easy maintenance.
- Designing scalable, efficient, and secure system architectures for embedded platforms.
- Leading the architectural planning and review processes to prevent critical design flaws in embedded system solutions.
- Selecting and evaluating algorithms, tools, and frameworks suitable for real-time embedded environments.
- Overseeing data management strategies, including data flow optimization and memory/resource constraints in embedded systems.
- Driving research and innovation in system design, AI integration, and emerging embedded technologies.
- Ensuring seamless integration of components.
- Producing comprehensive technical documentation and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience as a Computer Vision Architect for 5+ years.
- Expertise in embedded system design, with deep understanding of real-time constraints, hardware/software co-design, and system optimization.
- Strong experience with Yocto Project, ROS2 (Robot Operating System 2), and low-level embedded development.
- Experience with Nvidia CUDA and HAILO AI.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, review architectural proposals, and provide technical mentorship. - Level of English — from Upper-Intermediate and above.
- Ability to travel for meetups/workshops in Germany is a strong advantage.
