Andersen is seeking a Data Engineer for a Dutch SaaS company.
The company develops innovative, user-friendly and fully integrated software for the healthcare and child care industries.
Project: The Company has been developing and supplying innovative and user-friendly software to the Dutch healthcare sector for over 45 years.
Their goal is to enable healthcare and childcare professionals to provide better care for clients, patients and children.
We are creating new fabric platform, and need two fabric engineers. For setting up a multitenancy fabric platform.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing Microsoft Fabric pipelines and connectors to populate OneLake using incremental load strategies.
- Analysing existing .NET–based full-load connectors and redesigning them for incremental data ingestion.
- Working independently with high-level technical requirements, proposing the most effective architectural and implementation approaches.
- Collaborating with the client’s engineering team to ensure seamless integration with existing Azure and Fabric components.
- Troubleshooting and optimizing data ingestion performance within Microsoft Fabric and Azure services.
- Providing technical documentation and clear explanations of implemented logic and decisions.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Data Engineer for 4+ years.
- Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Fabric, including configuring data pipelines and integrating various data sources.
- Strong understanding of data ingestion concepts, including incremental loading, data orchestration, and workflow automation.
- Practical experience with .NET–based data connectors or integration components, with the ability to adapt or enhance them as needed.
- Ability to design scalable architectural solutions and make independent technical decisions based on high-level requirements.
- Experience working with Azure services and integrating cloud components into existing ecosystems.
- Skills in diagnosing performance issues within data platforms and applying effective optimization techniques.
- Ability to maintain high-quality technical documentation and clearly articulate design choices.
- English level – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
