About the role

We are looking for a freelance WordPress Developer to maintain and evolve our company website, focusing on building and improving pages, implementing layouts based on designs, and supporting ongoing website improvements.

Responsibilities:

Development & Layouts

• Build new pages and landing pages based on Figma designs (ensuring they are responsive and pixel-perfect).

Maintenance & Performance

• Handle regular maintenance (WordPress core, themes, and plugin updates) and quick bug/layout fixes.
• Improve website performance (caching, image optimization).

Integrations & Marketing Support

• Manage forms and integrations (HubSpot/CRM, UTM tracking, double opt-in).
• Implement SEO & Analytics requirements (Meta/OG/Schema, sitemaps, redirects, GA4 + GTM events, and Search Console).

Security & Operations

• Ensure security and reliability (backups, disaster recovery).
• Manage access (hosting, domain, CDN, analytics) and support compliance updates (cookie banners, GDPR/CCPA, privacy pages).

Requirements:

• 4+ years of commercial experience with WordPress development.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Solid experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS) and Gulp.
• Experience working with Git.
• Proven ability to customize themes and build pixel-perfect, responsive layouts.
• Experience working with existing projects and maintaining production websites.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
