Andersen is hiring a Full Stack QA Engineer in the EU to ensure quality of a large-scale digital banking platform, focusing on credit card and Cards-as-a-Service solutions across European markets.
The customer is a European organization operating in the financial services domain. The company provides digital solutions for everyday financial operations, works with a diverse user base and partners, and follows a technology-driven, scalable business model.
The project is focused on the development and quality assurance of a large-scale digital banking platform specializing in credit card products and Cards-as-a-Service solutions for both private and institutional clients across multiple European markets.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, planning, and implementing automation-driven test strategies.
- Performing hands-on manual testing of new features, integrations, and complex business scenarios.
- Developing, maintaining, and executing automated test suites for regression, integration, and system testing.
- Ensuring strong coverage of API, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
- Participating in test analysis, test case design, and exploratory testing.
- Contributing to the design and evolution of test automation architecture and infrastructure.
- Maintaining and optimizing the test automation ecosystem, tools, and repositories.
- Integrating automation activities into CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery processes.
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects and quality risks.
- Collaborating closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and QA leadership.
- Supporting continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices.
- Participating in POCs and prototype initiatives.
Must-have:
- Overall QA experience, covering both manual and automated testing, for 4+ years.
- Banking or financial systems (credit cards, payments).
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum preferred).
- Hands-on test automation experience.
- API & integration testing (REST APIs); API testing tools and libraries (e.g. requests, Postman).
- Strong experience with test automation in Python; hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, Robot Framework).
- Experience with frontend and backend testing in distributed systems; system integration and end-to-end testing.
- Practical experience with manual testing of complex business flows, including exploratory testing; functional and non-functional testing.
- Test design, test data preparation, and automation maintenance.
- CI/CD pipelines and test execution in automated flows.
- Confident use of Git and understanding of SDLC; experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience as a Developer or Business Analyst is considered.
- Manual UAT execution and coordination.
- Experience testing on cloud-based environments.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related IT field.
