A product tech company is looking for a Director of Infrastructure.

The company operates a large-scale international B2C digital platform in the live content and streaming domain. The mobile product connects creators with their audiences worldwide and enables talent monetization.

The company is well-established on the global market and backed by an international team distributed across multiple locations.

Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership: Build and scale a world-class Infrastructure organization. Define the vision for SRE and Platform Engineering that aligns with the company’s rapid B2C growth.

- Operational Excellence: Overhaul internal Prod Ops processes to eliminate infrastructure-led incidents. Establish high standards for change management, automated guardrails, and Infrastructure-as-Code maturity.

- FinOps & Budget Management: Own the multi-million-dollar cloud and infrastructure budget. Lead vendor negotiations (GCP/AWS/Azure) and drive architectural efficiency to optimize cost per user.

- Platform Engineering: Drive the Infrastructure-as-a-Product mindset, ensuring that application developers have automated tools and self-service platforms to move fast without compromising safety.

- Executive Collaboration: Act as the primary advocate for infrastructure health at the executive level. Translate technical debt and reliability metrics into business risks and opportunities.

- Crisis Management: Act as the ultimate escalation point for global technical incidents, fostering a culture of blameless post-mortems and long-term structural improvements.

Requirements:

Experience in Infrastructure, SRE, or Cloud Operations with a proven track record of scaling high-growth startup environments into stable global platforms
Experience managing infrastructure for high-scale platforms with tens of millions of Monthly Active Users (MAU)
Deep understanding of modern SRE principles and experience transitioning teams from traditional Ops to Platform Engineering models
Strong background in Cloud Economics and managing large-scale cloud spending across multiple providers
Exceptional leadership skills with experience hiring, mentoring, and retaining top engineering talent
Experience with high-load, real-time data environments (e.g., streaming, gaming, or ad-tech)
Fluent English and ability to lead a distributed global team
