Our client from Sweden is seeking an experienced Machining Production Engineer with a strong background in optimizing production processes to work with innovative technologies in the automotive industry!

As an Expert Machining Production Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing existing machining production processes to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the machining production processes, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to quality standards
Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within machining operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and resolve production issues
Conduct regular analysis of production data and performance metrics
Provide technical expertise and support to operators and technicians
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in machining production engineering, and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
Proven experience as a Machining Production Engineer or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
In-depth knowledge of machining processes
Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze production data and metrics to drive process improvements
Solid understanding of quality control principles and the ability to ensure adherence to quality standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to machining processes
Familiarity with safety regulations and the ability to promote a culture of safety in the workplace
Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and accuracy
