Our client offers a digital platform designed to simplify and streamline title and vehicle registration processes for auto dealerships, primarily in California, with expanding services nationwide. The solution includes functionality such as eFiling, digital signatures, audit support, and plate/sticker fulfillment, helping dealerships remain compliant and efficient.

About the Project:

DMV Desk is one of the core products within the client's ecosystem, focusing on automation and integration of DMV-related operations. The POD (Product-Oriented Delivery) model supports continuous improvement and innovation across core modules, ensuring scalability, compliance, and high availability of services.

This role is part of a cross-functional team working on backend validation, API test automation, and platform reliability. You'll contribute to both manual and automated testing efforts, with a strong emphasis on API-level quality assurance and stability of microservices in production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate API behaviors, plugin integration results, and consumer-facing test scenarios.
• Build and maintain automated regression test suites for backend services.
• Ensure contract testing is in place across microservice dependencies.
• Collaborate with QA, developers, and DevOps engineers to maintain CI/CD pipeline testing coverage.
• Support performance, load, and chaos testing strategies for critical endpoints.

Skills & Prerequisites:

• Experience with API test automation tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
• Hands-on experience with contract testing frameworks like Pact.
• Familiarity with CI/CD test execution (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Understanding of load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6) and chaos engineering principles (e.g., Gremlin, Litmus).
• Basic scripting or programming knowledge (Java, JS, or Python) is a plus.
