Avenga is looking for a progressive Senior Data Science Engineer. You will work in a team of highly qualified professionals to simplify and speedline the process of labeling the images. You will investigate different techniques to maximize the contrast between the objects and background on the image. In addition, you’ll explore the viability of mapping images onto an embedding space which can then be used for arbitrary downstream workflows. Also you’ll explore different approaches for quantifying and characterizing uncertainty in ML outputs.
What you bring along:

- 4+ years of experience with Data Science;
- Expert in Java or Python;
- Hand-on experience with OpenCV;
- Good understanding of SOTA Computer Vision architectures;
- Knowledge of modern DL architectures;
- Theoretical knowledge of statistics and uncertainty modeling;
- English – Upper-Intermediate or higher.
Nice to have:
- Previous working experience with Web UI development will be a plus;
- Experience with Google Cloud Services;
- Hands-on knowledge of TensorFlow.
