Our Swedish partner is looking for a CAE Engineer to join the sealing solutions and material engineering team.

The focus area is the sealing of packages, involving paper board, polymer materials and aluminum foil, as well as the physical components and process in the filling equipment and the packaged product.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with project teams developing equipment and packaging material concepts and products.
Be the simulation speaking partner defining what is possible and recommended doing with virtual tools, and what needs to be explored and verified with physical tests.
Perform simulations; mechanical and thermal mainly.
Should also be able to connect with expertise within CFD simulations as well as physical testing.
Write report after concluded work and present outcome and recommendation.
Virtual simulations using Simulia and Altair software.
Structural and thermal simulations in combination with physical testing in rig environment

Requirements

Modelling & Simulation in Sealing Quality.
Part of knowledge building activities, development projects as well as troubleshooting activities.
Abaqus and Hypermesh implicit and explicit methods and both linear and non-linear models
