About the role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior QA Automation to join the dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for leading the testing efforts, ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies and a passion for driving quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Required skills:

- Proven experience in testing teams and managing testing activities.

- Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.

- Proficiency in creating test plans, and test cases.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Experience with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Quality Center.

- Knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress.

- Experience with Playwright using TypeScript is desirable.

- Familiarity with Agile and/or DevOps practices.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.

- Experience with accessibility testing and performance testing methodologies and tools.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the testing team to ensure timely and effective execution of testing activities.

- Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.

- Coordinate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and requirements.

- Assign tasks to testing team members and ensure tasks are completed within deadlines.

- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas of improvement in testing processes.

- Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

- Perform test execution, defect tracking, and test reporting as necessary.

- Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders.

- Participate in project meetings, reviews, and retrospectives to provide testing insights and recommendations.

- Continuously evaluate and implement best practices for testing automation, test management, and quality assurance.
