About the project: Statistic Framework

Statistic Framework is our internal geospatial analytics tool. It helps development, data, and QA teams monitor map data changes, track product evolution, and ensure spatial data quality.

As part of the project, you will:

work with spatial data (points, lines, polygons, etc., in GeoJSON),

learn how to process and analyze geometry (e.g., calculating length, area),

explore tools and techniques used in the industry,

create dashboards and visualizations to track spatial changes,

work with data versioning and change detection.

This is more than just a “side project” – it’s a real platform used by our specialists in day-to-day work.

Who are we looking for?

Students from Kraków or nearby areas (graduating in 2025/26) who:

are passionate about spatial data, maps, analytics, or software development,

are eager to learn by doing and open to new technologies,

are available full-time for 5 weeks,

have basic programming or data analysis knowledge (e.g., Python, QGIS, SQL – anything counts!),

want to experience working in a real R&D team.

Required skills:

Solid understanding of Java programming concepts and principles

Familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP)

Understanding of data structures and algorithms

Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git)

Quick learner, able to work independently and as part of a team

English – minimum B2 level (we work in English)

Responsibilities:

Participate in the development and maintenance of Java applications

Learn and follow software development best practices

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in applications

Stay updated on trends and technologies in Java development

Application deadline: last applications June 30, 2025 Program dates: July 14 – August 15, 2025 Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week) Format: Unpaid, hybrid (1 day at Intellias Kraków office, 4 days remote)
