Requirements

  • Startup-to-Scale Success: 6+ years in SRE or Systems Architecture, with a proven history of maturing a high-pace startup environment into a reliable global product.
  • Team Leadership: 2+ years of experience as a Team Lead or Tech Lead in a high-load, real-time environment.
  • Expert Tech Stack: Mastery of Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes internals, with a focus on automated testing (Terratest/Molecule).
  • Automation Engineering: Strong coding proficiency in Go or Python to build internal reliability tools and automated safety gates.
  • English: Intermediate level or higher (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

  • Technical Management: Lead and mentor the SRE/Prod Ops team, shifting the department from a reactive support unit to a proactive platform-engineering organization.
  • Release Authority: Act as the final technical gatekeeper for high-risk infrastructure changes (Terraform/Ansible), ensuring they meet strict Zero-Downtime standards.
  • Change Safety Infrastructure: Build and maintain the GitOps pipelines that automate linting, security scanning, and dry-run validations for all platform changes.
  • Operational Guardrails: Implement Policy-as-Code (OPA/Checkov) to programmatically block high-risk configurations before they reach production.
  • Incremental Rollouts: Architect frameworks for the phased release of infrastructure changes (e.g., K8s or networking upgrades) with automated health checks and instant rollback.
