Senior Backend (Node.js) developer

We are looking for a Senior Backend (Node.js) developer with a strong Node.js/Typescript/GraphQL background for a unique project in the low-code market. We are building a web-based low-code application platform with a special focus on analytics that aims to provide IT & business departments with IT functions and citizen business developers in large organizations the possibility to develop business applications that are visually appealing, content-rich, engaging, and intuitive to use. Just like a toy set, our platform provides components or building blocks that can be combined with a visual drag-and-drop user interface to build, design, and deploy business applications in a quick, flexible, and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Focus on the back-end development of the web application;
• Write reusable and maintainable code;
• Design and implement new features and functionality;
• Optimize code for maximum performance;
• Propose solutions and approaches to technically handle non-trivial requests;
• Explain and present your technical solutions to the team and the client;
• Participating in the Scrum development process, team planning, estimation, and review activities;
• Work in an international team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience building backend for web applications;
• Strong skills and experience with Node.js;
• Strong knowledge and experience with TS;
• PostgreSQL knowledge and experience, general SQL versatility;
• Experience with Apollo GraphQL;
• Solid understanding and experience with Redis;
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
• Experience with AWS;
• Upper-intermediate written and spoken English.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with SSAS, SAP ERP.
