About the customer

The Customer is on an ambitious mission to disrupt how office floor plans are made — making them better to work in, quicker to design, and more environmentally friendly to rebuild with AI tools.

They are a 13-person team at the forefront of Norwegian PropTech.

The Customer has been building their floor plan automation tool since 2020 and currently has the largest RE companies in Norway using and testing their product.

About the team

You will be working with 2 AI developers (Part-time) and soon another AI Developer Lead (Full time)

Assignment description

The Customer has been developing their machine vision project with the help of students for the past two years and is in a scale-up/improvement phase with the project.

The system imports projects, suggests plans, and exports projects to their end clients. As a machine learning engineer at our Customer, you will be working on building ML models into their product suite, making them accessible for both technical and non-technical users.

This is a very research-heavy role and involves a lot of work on research projects as well as having a good understanding of space design and geometry.

Must haves

- 3+ yrs ML, AI, pattern recognition, CBR systems

- 3+ yrs Python-based ML frameworks

- 2+ yrs Generative Design

- Proven record with CBR Systems, Machine Vision, CUDA

Would be a plus:

- Previous experience with structural building architecture

- Similar experience as a game developer (buildings, 3D structural models, etc)
