QA Engineer

We are looking for a proactive QA Engineer to join our team at Honeycomb Software. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our advanced software solutions.

As a QA Engineer, you will work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify potential issues and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality. 

Responsibilities: 

• Test planning: develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications 

• Manual testing: perform manual testing on various platforms to identify bugs, usability issues, and other defects 

• Bug reporting: document and track bugs, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution and re-testing of fixes 

• Multitasking: efficiently manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that testing processes are completed within project timelines 

• Proactive problem solving actively participate in brainstorming sessions and provide input on potential improvements to the software and testing processes 

• Collaboration: work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and clients, to ensure seamless communication and alignment throughout the testing process 

• Quality assurance: ensure that all deliverables meet Honeycomb Software’s quality standards, including functionality, performance, and security 

• Continuous improvement: continuously assess and improve testing processes, adopting new tools and methodologies as needed 

What you’ll need: 

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices 

• Experience in both manual and automated testing, with the ability to write and maintain test scripts 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, document, and resolve issues effectively 

• Excellent multitasking abilities, with a proactive approach to managing tasks and priorities 

• Experience in trading or financial software testing is a plus 

• Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar is an advantage 

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team 

• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and experience with tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI is beneficial 

What you’ll be doing: 

• Develop and execute test plans and cases to ensure the quality and reliability of Honeycomb Soft’s software solutions 

• Conduct manual and automated testing to identify bugs, usability issues, and other defects 

• Work closely with developers to implement and maintain automated testing frameworks, enhancing the efficiency of the QA process 

• Document and track bugs, ensuring timely resolution and re-testing to meet project deadlines 

• Proactively contribute to brainstorming sessions, offering insights and suggestions for improving software quality 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment throughout the development and testing processes 

• Continuously assess and improve testing processes, adopting new tools and methodologies to enhance quality assurance
