AWS Cloud Engineer

Our partner is an international SMS hub with renowned clients both in Ukraine and abroad. The company offers a wide range of services for mobile operators and businesses, connected to over 900 mobile networks and SMS centers, and holds internationally recognized certifications.

The team consists of highly skilled professionals with extensive experience in messaging services (A2P, P2P, P2A), managed services, traffic solutions for monetization, and testing.

We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team and manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure according to best practices.
• Monitor the performance, scalability, and reliability of cloud resources.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Automate routine processes using Python or Bash.
• Implement and manage AWS security services such as IAM, Security Groups, WAF.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards (GDPR, ISO 27001).
• Set up monitoring systems (AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix).
• Respond to incidents and troubleshoot system and application issues.
• Optimize CI/CD processes using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Configure and support VPN/IPSec for clients based on Strongswan.

Requirements:

• Deep knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Route 53, Lambda).
• Experience working with Linux/Unix and Windows in cloud environments.
• Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, firewalls, load balancers).
• Experience writing scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Practical experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
• Knowledge of AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or other monitoring tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and root cause analysis.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).

Preferred Skills:

• AWS certification (AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and managing containerized applications in AWS (ECS, EKS).
• Knowledge of AWS database services (RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora).
• Experience in cost optimization in a cloud environment.
