Middle PHP Developer

We are looking for a talented Middle PHP Developer with deep knowledge of PHP, modern frameworks, and databases. Experience with Docker, REST APIs, and version control systems is required. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications using PHP (7.4+), Laravel/Symfony frameworks, and vanilla PHP.
• Design and optimize complex database queries (MySQL/MariaDB, Redis/MongoDB).
• Implement REST APIs and ensure clean, scalable code following PSR-12 and SOLID principles.
• Work with Docker for containerization, optimize legacy projects, and manage development environments.
• Write unit tests using PHPUnit and Codeception, and ensure high code quality with TDD/BDD practices.
• Collaborate with the team to develop efficient solutions and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance in both monolithic and microservices architectures.

Requirements:

Must Have:

• Strong PHP knowledge (experience with PHP 7.4+).
• Experience with Laravel or Symfony, as well as vanilla PHP (without frameworks).
• Proficient in MySQL/MariaDB (query creation, indexing, JOINs, transactions, optimization).
• Familiar with NoSQL databases like Redis/MongoDB.
• Proficient in Git for version control (pull/push requests, branching, code review).
• Experience with Docker (creating, running, and stopping containers).
• Basic knowledge of data caching techniques.
• Strong understanding of REST API principles and implementation.
• Familiar with SDLC, TDD/BDD practices, and testing frameworks like PHPUnit and Codeception.
• Basic JavaScript knowledge (including jQuery).
• Solid understanding of PHP version differences and use of design patterns.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with WordPress and custom plugin implementation
• Basic understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Familiarity with DRY, KISS principles.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and artifact deployment.
• Experience with RabbitMQ, SQS, or other MQs.
• Understanding of security practices like SQL injections, CSRF, XSS, CORS.
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies (Elasticsearch/OpenSearch).
• Experience with log systems and monitoring tools.
• Experience building applications using microservices and monolithic architectures.
• Experience with the ELK stack.
