QA Engineer

We are looking for a Middle Manual QA Engineer to join an innovative Blockchain project for a 6+ month engagement (with possible extension)

Required professional experience:

• 3+ years of manual testing experience;

• Good understanding of testing process methods and concepts;

• Experience in creating & maintenance of test-run plans and the test needs prioritization;

• Requirement analysis on the perfect level — mandatory;

• Experience with UI and API (REST) testing;

• Experience with DB & SQL;

• Strong sense of self-motivation, organization, and strong analytical skills;

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills;

• English at the Intermediate level and above, both verbal and written.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of CI/CD;

• Experience with Mobile testing;

• Blockchain experience;

• Experience in blockchain and smart contract testing;

• Experience with Git;

• Experience with GitLab.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze functional and non-functional requirements;

• Write and maintain test documentation;

• Execute ad-hoc, functional, acceptance, regression testing and re-test;

• Communicate with team members daily;

• Participate in meetings, make demos and knowledge-sharing sessions with QAs;

• Estimate current activities and report results to the team and QA Lead;

• Be a proactive member of the team;

• Suggest improvements to the processes to increase the product’s quality and the team’s performance.
