Azure DevOps Tech Lead

About the Role 

We're hiring an Azure DevOps Tech Lead on behalf of our client, a fast-growing company that helps businesses build solid DevOps practices and cloud solutions, to join their team and lead their DevOps engineers. 

In this role, you'll combine technical leadership with direct client engagement and pre-sales support. You'll guide the client's internal DevOps team, work with their customers to design the right DevOps and cloud solutions, and help shape modern applications, products, and systems used across the globe.

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead and mentor the DevOps team, ensuring delivery quality and alignment with best practices 
• Design, implement, and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab, and Azure DevOps 
• Partner with clients to understand their requirements and propose the right DevOps and cloud solutions 
• Participate in pre-sales and discovery sessions, bringing technical expertise to solution design 
• Drive adoption of automation, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native practices 
• Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and well-monitored with the Grafana stack 
• Act as a trusted advisor for clients on their DevOps and cloud strategy 

What We're Looking For 

Must Have 

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or DevOps Lead, with deep expertise in Azure DevOps 
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP is a plus) 
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform) 
• Azure certifications 
• Experience leading teams and working directly with clients 
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills 
• Ability to contribute to pre-sales conversations and discovery workshops

• Native Ukrainian speaker

Nice to Have 

• Security knowledge and skills 
• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor)
