Role Overview: We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer with Azure expertise to ensure smooth release management, process consistency, and reliable zero-downtime deployments across environments.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud Services (App Services, Functions, WebJobs, Service Bus, Event Hub, Virtual Machines, App Insights, etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Proficiency in Docker and Containers
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, orCloudFormation)
- Familiarity with Release Management and deployment automation strategies
- Strong understanding of monitoring tools (Application Insights, Grafana,Prometheus)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to teach and guide teams onDevOps best practices
- English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher
Nice to Have:
- Experience acting as a DevOps Tech Lead
- Proven ability to define, document, and enforce CI/CD and Release processes across multiple teams
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Configure and optimize Azure App Services, Functions, and related cloud resources
- Implement and maintain monitoring and observability (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana, Prometheus)
- Define and enforce Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards with Terraform, Bicep
- Lead the RACI framework implementation to improve accountability and clarity
- Establish and continuously improve DevOps processes across development teams
- Coach and mentor development and cross-functional teams on following CI/CD, IaC, and release best practices
- Design Release Management processes and ensure smooth, well-documented deployments
- Implement advanced deployment strategies such as Blue-Green Deployments, Staging Environments, and Zero-Downtime Deployments
- Build a developer self-service portal to simplify environment provisioning and deployments
- Automate environment refresh and improve platform stability
