Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Europe.

Our client is a company that provides AI-powered solutions designed to streamline legal work for law firms and corporate legal teams. The solution uses algorithms with reasoning-adept LLMs that have been customized and developed by the expert team of lawyers, engineers, and research scientists. The engineers and researchers work directly with OpenAI to build the future of generative AI and redefine professional services. It offers tools to assist with tasks like document review, contract analysis, legal research, and due diligence, helping professionals save time and improve accuracy, using natural language processing to interpret complex legal language and generate relevant insights.

The San Francisco-based company has partnered with the largest law firms and professional service providers in the world, including Paul Weiss, A&O Shearman, Ashurst, O'Melveny & Myers, PwC, KKR, and many others.

You’ll work integrally within the Product Engineering Team and will own and lead engineering projects across the various product lines. You will work on building secure systems that deliver value to the customers. It would involve working cross-functionally with other engineers, product managers, designers, and technical customer support.

Requirements

Experience working across the stack on incredible products across consumer, enterprise, and various industries, and is excited about building the future of application layer and GenAI products.
You’ll work with such a tech stack as:

Python for back-end development; Flask, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, Azure, Streamlit, Redis, Auth0;

React for front-end development; TypeScript, React v18, React Query, Tailwind CSS, shadcn, Zustand, react-hook-form, Zod, Lucide, Storybook;

Infra;
Deploying on Microsoft Azure;
PostgreSQL;
Temporal orchestration
OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini models.

Responsibilities

Write clean and well-structured code with ample test coverage.
Develop, release, and refine key product functionalities and end-user experiences.
Build API endpoints for CRUD functionality and otherwise.
Write service/model layer code to interface with the backend DB.
Create OpenAPI types to pass data between server and client.
Create modular and extensible frontend components.
Integrate end-to-end UI flows with backend logic.
Write DB migrations to make changes to the backend DB schema.
Create permissions and feature flags to gate and rollout your features.
Build interfaces and abstractions for other engineers to consume.
Implement integrations to third-party services and vendors.
