Senior Network Architect

Our partner is looking for a Senior Network Architect

(EU-based · Remote-first · 3–4 short business trips per year · Start ASAP)

Your designs will keep content flowing smoothly across newsrooms, studios, classrooms, and dozens of offices—empowering thousands of users and shaping how knowledge and entertainment move around Europe.

What you’ll own

• Redesign the entire network architecture (Layers 1-3, SD-WAN, Zero Trust, Cloud Networking) for a large media & education group.
• Turn vision into diagrams, configs, and roadmaps that make sense to the C-suite.
• Plan phases, timelines, budgets, and steer implementation with local teams.
• Run continuous monitoring and performance tuning.
• Guarantee network & information security every step of the way.
• Keep the organisation ahead of the curve by tracking industry innovation.

Tech stack & must-haves

• Deep knowledge of WAN/LAN connectivity, VLANs, VRF, IP routing.
• Hands-on with Fortigate or Forcepoint firewalls.
• Valid Cisco certification (CCNP/CCIE or similar).
• Proven skill in diagnosing complex incidents & troubleshooting on the fly.
• Experience managing or migrating VoIP/telephony infrastructures.
• Confidence evaluating telecom services and negotiating with providers.
• Fluent English (C1) for daily work with distributed teams & stakeholders.

Nice to have: PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project-management certification.
