Currently, we are looking for an experienced Game Designer to join us on a full-time basis at our Warsaw office (4 days onsite, 1 day remote).
We’re looking for a Game Designer who thrives in small, fast-moving teams and loves shaping core gameplay experiences from the ground up. You’ll play a central role in defining the systems, mechanics, and feel of our debut title—a stylized mobile-first game that’s intuitive, satisfying, and emotionally engaging. This is a hands-on role for someone who’s as comfortable in spreadsheets as they are in Unity, and who can balance creative instincts with production realities.
Our Customer is a newly founded game studio led by industry veterans. Their goal is clear: to create a game that players love, one that redefines the genre and achieves strong financial success.
Responsibilities:
- Design, prototype, and iterate on core gameplay systems, mechanics, and level flows.
- Own feature design from pitch to implementation, collaborating closely with art, UI/UX, and engineering.
- Translate the creative vision into elegant, engaging gameplay loops tailored for mobile.
- Analyze playtest data and feedback to refine features and improve balance, pacing, and fun.
- Work directly in Unity to implement, test, and polish gameplay elements.
- Help define and document game systems, economy models, and progression flows.
- Stay current with trends in mobile and F2P game design, and bring fresh ideas to the table.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience designing gameplay systems, levels, or features—ideally in mobile or stylized games.
- Strong grasp of game loops, retention mechanics, player psychology, and intuitive UX.
- Comfortable designing for mobile-first gameplay with an eye toward simplicity and depth.
- Skilled in prototyping and balancing using tools like Excel, Unity, Miro, or Figma.
- Strong communicator who enjoys cross-functional collaboration in small teams.
- Self-driven, highly iterative, and proactive—ready to take ownership and run with ideas.
- Experience working in Unity, with the ability to implement and tweak gameplay directly — advantage
- Understanding of monetization systems, LiveOps design, and onboarding flows — advantage
- Background in scripting, narrative design, or content authoring - advantage
- Familiarity with AI-assisted ideation tools or procedural systems — advantage
What's in it for you:
- Shape the gameplay of a brand-new mobile game from day one.
- High creative ownership in a zero-politics, low-ego environment.
- Work with a small, elite team where your voice matters.
- Iterate fast, ship smart, and build something truly player-first.
- Competitive salary
- Vacation 20 calendar days
- Kitchen with healthy snacks, coffee, and fruit days.
