Python Developer

Axon is looking for an experienced Python Engineer to join an AI-powered knowledge platform that helps organizations capture, scale, and preserve expert knowledge, making it accessible and reliable across teams. Designed for dynamic environments, it allows employees to ask questions and receive context-rich, source-backed answers directly within their existing workflows.

The system prioritizes trust, accuracy, and control, combining real-time AI capabilities with human oversight. Experts continuously validate and enrich the platform, ensuring decisions are supported—not replaced—by technology.

With strong security standards, isolated data environments, and deep integration options, it’s built to support fast, confident decision-making while keeping organizations in control of their knowledge.

What you need for this position:

• 5+ years of experience with Python and Django;
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL;
• Solid knowledge of Docker;
• Familiarity with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code);
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS;
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.

What you will be doing:

• Designing and developing server-side logic using Python and Django;
• Collaborating closely with the CPTO, project manager, and frontend developers to enhance existing features and deliver new functionality;
• Building reusable, maintainable backend components for future scalability;
• Ensuring optimal application performance, scalability, and security;
• Managing infrastructure and deployments using Docker, Terraform, and AWS;
• Working autonomously in a task-driven, self-managed environment.
